The way Dylan teared up during Annika’s vows is something I’ll never forget. It is such an honor to film such intimate and soulful moments. I loved being back at Agave of Sedona, one of the best wedding venues in Sedona, working with Casey Green Weddings and as always, it was a joy to shoot with Bon Miller Preview above, full film below.
Hannah and Nick’s wedding was unforgettable. I will never forget how after their first look, he pulled out his guitar and surprised her with a song he wrote just for her. It was absolute magic. Full film above, preview below.
Allie and Brandon had a beautiful wedding coordinated by Jane in the Woods. They had their ceremony at Agave of Sedona, followed by an incredible creekside reception at Los Abrigados. It’s not often that weddings change locations for the reception, but it is definitely an option worth considering, especially if the guest count is on the smaller side, which this one was. I had never been to Los Abrigados, and it was gorgeous. The trees are stunning, and everything was so green, which is a fun contrast from the red rock. Congratulations to Allison and Brandon. Also I have to mention that my sister’s name is Alison (with 1 L), and she married a Brandon too. Congrats Allie and Brandon! Full film above, preview below.
There were so many sweet moments from Emily and Casey’s Agave of Sedona wedding. There was a lot of mention of Emily’s father, who has passed away. He is clearly very missed, and during the ceremony, there was a beautiful finch that kept fluttering over the audience, perching and keeping watch. He stuck around for family portraits after, and it truly felt like a sign, a symbol, a coincidence, something for sure. I also just loved their vows and felt grateful that not only do I get to capture how a wedding looks, but how it sounds, and how it feels. We snuck away for some stunning portraits at sunset with photographer Haily Golich and the lighting was magic. This wedding was planned by Casey Green Weddings, and she is phenomenal. 858 days. That’s how long Julia and Tyler had to wait to get married. Julia and Tyler were radiating joy the entire day. I seriously felt like I was filming Julia as she experienced her dreams coming true. From her first look with her dad to soaking in the sunset at airpot vortex with Tyler, she loved it all. I am so happy for this sweet couple. They are ready to conquer the world as man and wife. Full film above, preview below.
Kendra and Connor are two incredible people. Kendra is a PA in New Mexico, and she has worked so hard, overcoming all sorts of obstacles, to get to where she is. Connor is a professional baseball player, and he too, has worked unbelievably hard to get to where he is. Being at their wedding, hearing speeches from their families, and listening to their vows over and over as I edited their film, was a good reminder that this life is such a gift. There is so much to be experienced and learned, and most of the time, we need to step up and take an active role to make our dreams come true.
Kendra incorporated so many beautiful details from her culture in her wedding and ceremony. Her mother sewed turquoise throughout her veil. Native American flute music floated over the the crowd. Sacred prayers were said to the north, south, east, and west. It truly was a sacred ceremony, and I am grateful I was there to capture it for their family to enjoy as the years go by.
