When the bride professional choreographs fight scenes, you get out the light sabers. I loved filming this incredible wedding at The Gardens at Viola’s in Flagstaff, AZ. Full film above, preview below.
Adrianna and Matthew’s wedding was FUN. There were bubbles, a group dance from the ceremony to the dining room to C’mon Ride The Train, a huge group la Marcha, and my personal favorite, Matthew’s surprise rock band performance where he sang Adrianna a song written just for her. The entire wedding was bursting with their personality the flare, and I’m so grateful I could capture this authentic day. Full film above, preview below.
Jaclyn and Patrick are climbers and, surprise…dancers. They told me they had a simple choreographed first dance that was no big deal. Well, they absolutely killed it with a full ballroom routine. They were both so confident and maintained steamy eye contact. Those dance lessons really paid off. I’ve received numerous comments about how magical their chemistry is, and I definitely agree. Viola’s was a fabulous venue for their wedding. The gardens were at peek beauty and their friends and family tore up the dance floor. So much love to Jaclyn and Patrick! Chad and Seda have an unforgettable love story. Seda came to Flagstaff from Turkey for school. She met Chad, and they fell in love. She was planning to go back to Turkey before starting her PhD, and did temporarily. Chad tells a story during his vows about their last afternoon together before she returned to Turkey. The were coming home from Sedona and heading up Oak Creek Canyon when the song “Always Remember Us This Way” by Lady Gaga came on. Chad looked over to see a tear falling down her cheek, and knew then he would do whatever it took for them to be together.
Seda’s dress was made in Turkey specifically for her. In the films you can also see the Turkish “evil eye” pinned to Chad and many of the guests which brings safety and protection. Seda’s family could not attend the wedding, but they were there on an iPad tuning in even though it was the middle of the night in Turkey. Even better though, after this Flagstaff wedding, Chad and Seda traveled to Turkey for a second wedding. Congratulations you two! Full film above, preview below.
I loved this wedding. I love their story. Watch the first 2 minutes of the film above, and you’ll see what I mean. The two went to prom together, parted ways, and then came back together years later, never to be separated. Once I heard about their love story, I scrolled through Emily’s Instagram and found the video of Ricardo asking her to prom. I squealed out loud and knew I had to use that clip.
Ricardo’s father’s speech in the beginning of the film makes my heart soar. It’s these wedding moments I live for. And of course, the Gardens at Viola’s in Flagstaff is an incredible venue.
