Kate and Steven have a COVID love story. They met online, chatted on the phone for hours, and they could both tell something was different. After Kate jumped on an airplane to meet him face to face, she instantly knew Steven was the one. My favorite part of the wedding was during Kate’s dad’s toast when he said that the first time he met Steven, he too agreed that Steven was the one. Nailed it Dad!
Adrianna and Matthew’s wedding was FUN. There were bubbles, a group dance from the ceremony to the dining room to C’mon Ride The Train, a huge group la Marcha, and my personal favorite, Matthew’s surprise rock band performance where he sang Adrianna a song written just for her. The entire wedding was bursting with their personality the flare, and I’m so grateful I could capture this authentic day. Full film above, preview below.
This was my first time filming at Serendipity Venue in Flagstaff, and I had a great experience there. The staff is so kind and accommodating, and the venue has everything you need. They are also working hard on landscaping to make it even more beautiful. Sierra and David were also probably the reason I loved this venue so much. They are a power couple, wildly in love, ready to support and conquer the world together. Full film above, preview below.
Kendall and TJ were married at a beautiful family vacation cabin in Flagstaff. The cabin is a sacred place for TJ. It has been the location where invaluable family memories have been made, including memories of dating Kendall. This was one of these weddings where I could tell that Kendall and TJ could not wait to become husband and wife. Their excitement was contagious and the energy was high. Their vows made me laugh out loud, and I loved that I could capture and preserve them forever. Congrats Kendall and TJ! Full film above, preview below.
Shannon and Brian’s wedding at The Arboretum at Flagstaff was stunning. They got ready at BellaVue Estate and before leaving for the Arboretum, they shared private vows. After Brian saw Shannon for the first time in her gown, he said “Where do I sign?” We all laughed. Shannon works in the wedding industry, and she had a glorious vision for her own wedding. When I walked up to the ceremony location at The Arboretum, I couldn’t believe how magnificent the flowers were. The florals, the cake, the tables- it was all so incredible. Brianna and Hayden had a magical forest wedding at Aldea Weddings in the Woods in Mountainaire, just outside of Flagstaff, AZ. They decided to share private vows just before the ceremony, and they were so heartfelt. This is a great option if you want to share vows, but not in front of allll your guests. When Lauren told me she was getting married in January in Flagstaff, one of the first things she said was, “I love snow!” Lucky for her, it was one of the snowiest winters in history. Lauren and Kyle were actually married outside of Flagstaff in Munds Park at the beautiful Foxboro Ranch Estates. This property is conveniently located, private, and gorgeous. The ceremony took place outdoors on the covered bridge. I’ve filmed multiple ceremonies here, and IMO, it requires varsity, big league videography skills. You’ve got drop offs toward water, narrow walkways, shaky plank flooring, and a long aisle, but if I do say so myself, I nail it every time, and then sleep very hard that night.
The reception was inside the beautiful lodge with the unforgettable ponderosa tree. Lauren, an accomplished baker, baked her own wedding cake, as well as delicious individual cheesecakes. Lastly, I will never forget her glorious, thrifted white coat. What an incredible way to start 2023! Full film above, preview below.
Cris and Tim used to be my neighbors, and I just love them. We would exchange baked goods often. She makes incredible banana muffins with a streusel topping. She came to me this past spring and said, “I want to talk to you about wedding videography.” I said “For who?” and she said, “For me!”. Cris and Tim have been together for over 20 years. I would be lying if I didn’t say I thought they were already married. Their ceremony was so beautiful, and unlike any I have filmed before. These are two people 100% choosing to get married because they love each other unconditionally. Through good times, bad times, different phases of life, they still choose each other. Even more sweet, their adult daughter was able to be a maid of honor, witnessing her parents speak their vows to one another. Yes, I cried. Preview above, full film below.
Jaclyn and Patrick are climbers and, surprise…dancers. They told me they had a simple choreographed first dance that was no big deal. Well, they absolutely killed it with a full ballroom routine. They were both so confident and maintained steamy eye contact. Those dance lessons really paid off. I’ve received numerous comments about how magical their chemistry is, and I definitely agree. Viola’s was a fabulous venue for their wedding. The gardens were at peek beauty and their friends and family tore up the dance floor. So much love to Jaclyn and Patrick! Corina and Wesley are both educators here in Flagstaff. Wesley created their invitations using an old printing press. They had a typewriter for their guests to type out well wishes. Every table had one of their favorite books in the centerpiece. I noticed Matilda, Ella Enchanted, the Princess Bride, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and so many more. The thoughtful details, colorful florals, and the beautiful ponderosa pine trees framed their love perfectly. The Arboretum at Flagstaff is absolutely stunning and has gorgeous views of the peaks. Chad and Seda have an unforgettable love story. Seda came to Flagstaff from Turkey for school. She met Chad, and they fell in love. She was planning to go back to Turkey before starting her PhD, and did temporarily. Chad tells a story during his vows about their last afternoon together before she returned to Turkey. The were coming home from Sedona and heading up Oak Creek Canyon when the song “Always Remember Us This Way” by Lady Gaga came on. Chad looked over to see a tear falling down her cheek, and knew then he would do whatever it took for them to be together.
Seda’s dress was made in Turkey specifically for her. In the films you can also see the Turkish “evil eye” pinned to Chad and many of the guests which brings safety and protection. Seda’s family could not attend the wedding, but they were there on an iPad tuning in even though it was the middle of the night in Turkey. Even better though, after this Flagstaff wedding, Chad and Seda traveled to Turkey for a second wedding. Congratulations you two! Full film above, preview below.
I love Sedona, but filming summer weddings in Flagstaff is a dream for me. The morning of Chrissie and Matt’s wedding, I went to all three of my kids’ soccer games while my gear was charging, came home for lunch, and headed to the wedding. Not having the hour plus drive to Sedona really takes the edge off, and obviously, the summer temps of Flagstaff are such a relief to the desert heat.
Chrissie and Matt both live in Flagstaff and I loved hearing about how Chrissie came to Flagstaff as an engineer, met Matt and knew she could never leave.
Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club has gorgeous panoramic views of the San Francisco Peaks to Kendrick Peak and the large windows and balcony allow you to enjoy them all night. So much love to this couple!

Samantha and Tyler are Flagstaff locals. I love love my destination couples, but it’s always so fun to have the Flagstaff connection.
Samantha and Tyler had the most beautiful wedding at one of my favorite venues, Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek. The peach, apple, and plum trees were heavy with fruit, and Marisa from Simply Sweet Photo and I, couldn’t resist asking permission from the head chef to pick a peach (which I scarfed on the drive home).
Samantha and Tyler had their family around them, as well as their sweet pup, as they committed their lives to each other. I absolutely loved how happy their pup was all day. She seemed to be barking her approval during the ceremony, and it was so joyful. Samantha embroidered their initials and date on masks for their wedding guests, which was such a fun touch. Congratulations Sam and Tyler!

R and J had the most beautiful wedding at a rustic log cabin with incredible views of the San Francisco peaks. These two asked me to keep their wedding film private, a request I will always grant, but they happily said we could share their preview.
It is truly an honor to be part of such intimate, sacred celebrations. R had one of the most contagious laughs I’ve ever heard, and J, a good foot taller than R, was beaming the whole time. I love when I show up to the wedding, and the groom is acting like he won the jackpot.
I also loved that the 30 minute drive to this location was on over 10 miles of dirt road directly behind my house. The forests here are huge and unbroken. Northern Arizona is wonderful.
