Jill & Luke // Sedona Elopement {Sedona Elopement Videographer}

July 06, 2023 by Leslie Allred in elopement

Jill and Luke came from Texas to elope in Sedona with a few close friends. One of my favorite details was Jill’s bouquet. Each of her elementary students made her a colorful tissue paper flower and put together, they made the most vibrant bouquet. My favorite moment was after the first look. Jill told Luke she got her dress from Facebook Marketplace and they both laughed over love of a good deal. This elopement was full of energy, laughter, and love. Congratulations Jill and Luke! Chane & Will // Sedona Elopement {Sedona Elopement Videographer}

May 19, 2023 by Leslie Allred in elopement

Chane and Will got married in Florida and right after, came to Sedona. It was their dream to have a red rock session at the top of Cathedral Rock and exchange their vows. Victoria with White Desert Photography and I them in the parking lot (this was not a weekend), and immediately noticed how relaxed Chane and Will were. The big wedding was behind them, and they could just enjoy each other and their vacation. They were all smiles and laughter, and the evening was lovely. There was a dusting of snow on the red rocks, and the sun shone through crevasses it rarely does (thumbnail pic above!!). There was no long line to take photos, and so we had plenty of privacy. Their vows, saved for this moment, were heartfelt, although honestly, it was so windy, Victoria and I couldn’t even hear them. I’m so grateful I caught such quality audio for them to have forever.

Although it was stunning, it was freezing up there. The wind can really whip over that saddle. We were all shivering, and I was even in a beanie and puffy. Truthfully, Chane and Will, even with their Florida acclimation, didn't complain once. It was an adventure and completely worth it. Full film above, preview below.

Lauren & Kyle // Foxboro Ranch Estates Winter Wedding

May 19, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

When Lauren told me she was getting married in January in Flagstaff, one of the first things she said was, “I love snow!” Lucky for her, it was one of the snowiest winters in history. Lauren and Kyle were actually married outside of Flagstaff in Munds Park at the beautiful Foxboro Ranch Estates. This property is conveniently located, private, and gorgeous. The ceremony took place outdoors on the covered bridge. I’ve filmed multiple ceremonies here, and IMO, it requires varsity, big league videography skills. You’ve got drop offs toward water, narrow walkways, shaky plank flooring, and a long aisle, but if I do say so myself, I nail it every time, and then sleep very hard that night.

The reception was inside the beautiful lodge with the unforgettable ponderosa tree. Lauren, an accomplished baker, baked her own wedding cake, as well as delicious individual cheesecakes. Lastly, I will never forget her glorious, thrifted white coat. What an incredible way to start 2023! Full film above, preview below.

Allie & Blaine // Chapel of the Holy Cross Wedding {Sedona Wedding Videographer}

March 27, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Allie and Blaine came from Louisiana to get married at the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, AZ. Allie told me that she had always wanted an adventure elopement, and Blaine had always wanted a church wedding. This was a perfect compromise.

Photographer Katrina Wallace and I worked together on this beautiful micro-wedding. We started with getting ready footage and photos at the Hilton Sedona Resort followed by a dreamy first look at Bell Rock. After getting gorgeous photos and video, we headed to the Chapel of the Holy Cross. The gates closed behind us, and we had the incredible views at the Chapel to ourselves. Right at sunset, they had their ceremony. Pink and purple clouds were visible through the windows during their intimate wedding.

Lindsay & Mitch // Snowy Sedona Elopement {Sedona Elopement Videographer}

March 22, 2023 by Leslie Allred in elopement

Lindsay and Mitch were my last wedding of 2022. The original plan was to head up to to Merry Go Round with photographer Hailey Golich in her beautiful 4-Runner. Mother Nature had other plans. Due to snowy and muddy conditions, the road was closed. We quickly adapted. Lindsay and Mitch had their elopement ceremony at Mund’s Wagon trailhead, and then we went to Bell Rock for an incredible adventure session. Being the off-season and snowy, Bell Rock was basically empty. They had a first dance with snowy buttes in the background that I don’t think I will ever forget. Both Hailey and I were shooting from a distance to give them privacy, and I think there is a possibility that, for a moment, they forget we were there. They serenaded the words to one another and shed a few tears. Bliss. On Christmas, they announced their elopement to their loved ones with the sneak peek below and Hailey’s photos.

Hannah & Paul // Flagstaff Ranch Wedding {Flagstaff Wedding Videographer}

March 22, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Hannah and Paul were married at Flagstaff Ranch. It was a chilly November day, but with hand warmers, and an indoor reception, it was absolute magic. Hannah wore a gorgeous silvery blue Hayley Paige dress covered in stars. I’ve never seen a dress like it, and I absolutely loved it. Full film above, preview below.

Tamlyn & Brendan // Sedona Cloth and Flame Wedding {Sedona Wedding Videographer}

March 22, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Tamlyn and Brendan are a total power couple. They met in residency and are living their dreams together in the medical field. Their wedding was put on by Cloth and Flame at a beautiful location located near the Sedona airport. I hope this venue will be available for more weddings in the future! Tamlyn and Brendan no longer live in AZ, but they carry it with them in their heart and included many Arizona touches in their wedding. Scorpion bola ties, turquoise jewelry, cactus for their guests…I loved all the colors and details. Full film above, preview below.

Victoria & Marcelo // Chapel of The Holy Cross and Amara Resort Wedding {Sedona Wedding Videographer}

March 22, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Victoria and Marcelo were married at the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, AZ. Filming in this chapel is always a good challenge. The lighting can be tricky, and there are restrictions on where photographers and videographers can go. I think this wedding came out amazing, and it truly is always a beautiful experience to be in this chapel during a wedding, at sunset. I still think that the Chapel has some of the best views in all of Sedona.

After the wedding, Victoria, Marcelo and their loved ones headed to Amara Resort for an intimate reception. My favorite moment of the night was when Victoria’s dad got up from his wheel chair to dance with her, and not just any dance, but salsa. These are the moments I live for.

Nikki & Sam // Tlaquepaque Patio de las Campanas Wedding {Sedona Wedding Videographer}

March 22, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Nikki and Sam were married on the beautiful Patio de las Campanas at Tlaquepaque in Sedona, AZ. Nikki’s father was the one who contacted me about videography, and throughout this process, I was so touched by the love he has for his daughter. He was very involved in the planning of the wedding and his sole mission was to give his daughter the wedding of her dreams. When the day of the wedding came, it was a joy to meet everyone in person and witness with my own eyes the love in this family. They welcomed Sam into the family with open arms. Sam and Nikki exchanged heart felt vows during their ceremony, and we were all grateful that we didn’t get rained out! Sneak peek above, full film below.

Cabins on Strawberry Hill Wedding // Ashley & Pete

January 24, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

The Cabins on Strawberry Hill is a lovely, intimate, venue located in the beautiful town of Strawberry, AZ, not too far of a drive from Payson and Flagstaff. Once again, rain threatened to dump all day, but thankfully, it mostly stayed away. I adored capturing the official blending of Ashley and Pete’s families, although it’s clear they’ve been doing a fabulous job of this for some time. Congratulations Ashley and Pete! Tlaquepaque Sedona Wedding // Jenna & Josh

January 24, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Jenna and Josh had their ceremony and reception at Tlaquepaque in Sedona, AZ. If you’ve never walked around these beautiful grounds, make sure you do next time you’re in Sedona. Ceremonies at Tlaquepaque start when the galleries close, so in the fall and winter, it is dark, or nearly dark. On this day, a storm came in (again!!), and we had to relocate from Patio de las Campanas to the Tlaquepaque Chapel. I admired Jenna and Josh for being flexible with the plan, as I know it wasn’t what they had envisioned. The Chapel is beautiful and cozy, so it was a lovely backup plan. Luckily the storm passed during the ceremony, and the reception was able to carry on, as planned on the Patio de las Campanas, and it was absolutely stunning. The rest of the evening went without a hitch. Congratulations Jenn and Josh.

Alexis & Cameron // Sedona Elopement

January 11, 2023 by Leslie Allred in elopement

Alexis and Cameron are my heroes. Several of the weddings I filmed in August-November, 2022 were interrupted by rainstorms, but nothing like what Alexis and Cameron experienced. They were eloping with a few close friends and family members at the base of Bell Rock. We were a 10 minute hike from the cars or any kind of shelter. Before weddings, I always check the forecast, and this storm came from nowhere. Literally as Alexis started walking down the red rock aisle, a fast and furious storm came from the west. It went from sprinkling to pouring in minutes. The wind picked up, and the lightning got intense. Thank goodness my friend Sam was there to help get some drone shots, because he helped hold my rain jacket over my tripod as I huddled under an umbrella with my second camera with Danielle Holman, photographer. I filmed as long as I could before I knew I was at risk of destroying my cameras. The wind was making the rain go sideways and blowing umbrellas inside out. I kept shooting in 4K with my iPhone, but even that ended up ruining my phone. The officiant rushed the ceremony and then we booked it to the cars. We weren’t just damp, we were all completely soaked. Like jumped in a pool soaked. And of course, a double rainbow greeted us at the parking lot. A few days later, Danielle Holman and I met up again with Alexis and Cameron for a sweet vow and photo redo with sunny skies. By that point, Alexis and Cameron were already able to laugh about it all.

Diana & Michael // Red Agave Resort Sedona Wedding

January 11, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Diana and Michael had the most beautiful wedding at one of my favorite venues, Red Agave Resort in Sedona, AZ. Red Agave has gorgeous views of Bell Rock and Cathedral Butte from the ceremony and reception area. Access to some of the best trails in Sedona is available right off the back patio. Diana and Michael had incredible chemistry together. They were just stunning. We delayed the ceremony as a monsoon swept over the area. We were left with moody skies, fresh desert smells and gratitude for the incredible landscape.

April & Lane // Crockett Creek Crossing Georgia Wedding

January 11, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

Spoiler: April is my sister-in-law! I met April when she was a teenager, and I have watched her climb mountains. She has been faced with some of the most difficult obstacles life has to offer and has come out on top. I am so proud of her, and when she told me she was engaged, it was no question that I would be there. The wedding took place at the beautiful Mulberry Chapel at Crockett Creek Crossing in Georgia. Sabrina & Tate // Riordan Mansion State Historic Park Flagstaff Wedding

January 11, 2023 by Leslie Allred in wedding

The Riordan Mansion is a historic building, built by two lumberjack brothers in 1904. It’s conveniently located in the heart of Flagstaff, practically on NAU campus. Sabrina was given a beautiful room to get ready, and the grounds of the mansion were a dream to film. The most memorable moment was when Sabrina and Tate’s pups barked in approval during their ceremony kiss. Preview above, and the full film has been kept private per the couple’s request.
